Data protection at the School of Human and Social Sciences
The CNM is presently funded by the long-term infrastructure priority program New Data Spaces for the Social Sciences, which aims at developing best practices in data protection and data ethics, when survey data and digital big data are integrated. Therefore, the head of the CNM, PD Dr. Markus Hofmann, became data protection coordinator for third-party funded projects in the School of Human and Social Sciences of the University of Wuppertal. Here you can find information on our workflow of data protection documentation as well as frequently asked questions (FAQ, German-only).
When you work at the School of Human and Social Sciences of the University of Wuppertal and seek to document a data handling process of person-related data that are not third-party funded, please contact the general data protection coordinator of this School.
